VoAg & Woods Teacher

USD 426 is seeking a VoAg (Vocational Agriculture) or Woods Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves teaching students hands-on skills in agriculture, woodworking, and related trades, preparing them for careers in these fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans for agriculture, woodworking, and shop courses
• Teach students practical skills in woodworking, carpentry, welding, or agricultural mechanics
• Maintain a safe and organized workshop or classroom environment
• Incorporate hands-on projects to enhance student learning
• Prepare students for careers, technical training, or certifications in agriculture or skilled trades
• Manage tools, equipment, and classroom materials
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success
• Advise or assist with FFA (Future Farmers of America) or other career-based programs (if applicable)
