Librarian – Teen/Adult Services – Belleville Public Library

Belleville Public Library seeks a dedicated Librarian to lead our teen and adult services. This role offers the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about community engagement and library programming.

Position Overview: As our Teen/Adult Services Librarian, you will develop and implement programs that engage community members ages 13 and up. You’ll work in a supportive environment where your creative ideas can flourish and make a real impact on people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engaging programs for teens and adults
• Provide personalized reader’s advisory services
• Lead community outreach initiatives to expand library reach
• Promote library collections and digital resources
• Create welcoming, inclusive spaces for diverse patrons
• Build partnerships with local organizations and schools
• Assist with collection development for teen and adult materials

Position Details

• Part-time position: 28 hours per week
• Competitive salary: $12-$15 per hour based on experience
• Flexible schedule includes some evenings and weekends
• Reports directly to Library Director
