Bus Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a School Bus Driver. This position is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, field trips, and other designated locations according to a set schedule. The driver will ensure that the bus is properly maintained, follow all traffic laws, and provide a positive and friendly environment for students during their commute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school and other locations in a timely manner.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the school bus.
• Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times.
• Ensure the safety of all students during loading, unloading, and transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and school district policies.
• Report any incidents, mechanical problems, or delays to appropriate staff.
• Foster a positive and respectful environment for students.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with school bus endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student safety.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

(Could include driving a suburban if interested to assist with routes)
