A Health Fair at the Crossroads will be staged at Republic County Hospital Thursday, November 9, with 30 booths featuring hospital services and local health care vendors.
The fair will run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in south lower level of the hospital, in the Intermediate Swing Bed unit next to the cafeteria.
The health fair will be held in conjunction with the North Central Kansas Health Care Foundation Radiothon on KREP-FM KR-92 which raises money for the physician recruitment fund.
Reduced price blood tests will be available at the health fair from 7 a.m. to noon. Programs on a variety of health topics will be held through the morning. Residents of the ISB unit will sell concessions and have a bake sale. Many vendors will have drawings for prizes, and each donor to the NCKHCF that day will be entered in a drawing to win a Traeger Tailgater grill donated by S&P Farm Repair. The LifeFlight helicopter will also be on display
in the late morning.
