Health Promotion Task Force
Chronic diseases, such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes are the leading cause of death and disability in Kansas and account for 75% healthcare costs in the state. The Republic County Health Task Force is striving to improve these conditions in the County. Our current focus is to support implementation of population-wide approaches to prevent obesity, diabetes, heart disease and stroke among Kansas adults and we have been awarded the Public Health Actions for Prevention Grant, which will aid us with these goals.
Please consider joining our efforts to combat chronic disease in Republic County.
