Ashley Lynn Gross, Scandia, was one of nearly Nearly 3,300 Baylor
University, Waco TX students were named to the Dean’s Academic Honor List for the 2014 spring semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum gradepoint average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Students who have accepted scholarships to Fort Hays State University
for the 2014-2015 school year include: Raven Reid, a 2014 Pike Valley High School graduate, accepted an $800 Hays City Silver Academic Award. She is the daughter of Daniel and Charlene Reid, Courtland.

Sterling College named Darsha Bechard of Belleville, to the 2014 Spring Dean’s Honor Roll. Students must have a gpa of 3.50 or better. Bechard is the daughter of Donald and Mary Bechard. Bechard traveled to Guatemala on a mission trip that left on May 26 and returned June 9. While on the trip, the team worked various outreach ministries including vacation Bible school.

More than 3,400 Kansas State University students have earned semester honors for their academic performance during the spring 2014 semester. Students with at least 12 graded hours and whose grade point average for the semester is 3.75 or above receive semester honors. They also receive commendations from their deans and the honors recorded on their permanent academic records.

Cloud County Community College has announced the names of students on the Spring
2014 Academic Honor Roll. To be named to the honor roll, students must be
enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours of college coursework and achieve a minimum 3.6 grade point average. The following students have been named to the Spring 2014 Honor Roll.

Park University, Parkville MO held its May 2014 Kansas City Area Commencement ceremony on May 10 at the Community of Christ Auditorium in Independence, Mo. Graduates included Royce Skocny, Kansas City, Mo. (attended Hillcrest High School, Cuba), Business Administration/ Human Resources
