New President named at Swedish American State Bank
Tanner M. Johnson was named President of the Swedish-American State Bank at the bank’s recent Board of Directors meeting, succeeding his great-grandfather Chris Green, grandfather Herb Johnson and father Michael Johnson.
Mike was named Chairman of the Board and will remain active in the bank.
Following his graduation from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 Tanner owned and operated a website development in Norman, Oklahoma, for 12 years. He re-joined the Swedish-American State Bank in 2011 when he moved back to Courtland with his wife, Kathy, and children, Ella and Sam.
Tanner is active in the community and currently serves as the president of the Courtland Arts Council and as a board member for the Republic County Healthcare Foundation. Tanner is also a national representative for the Independent Community Bankers of America Rural Agriculture Committee.
